Plot Blaster "How To" Instructions
Caution:
• The metal components of the Plot Blaster and related accessories may be sharp. Handle with care.
• Please take caution with moving parts when assembling and disassembling the Plot Blaster. Folding parts may create a pinch point.
• Please use caution when spraying and stand clear from the spray tip to avoid exposure to hazardous chemicals when in use.
Recommendations for Use:
• We recommend using the Original Plot Blaster Boomless Sprayer with spray tanks ranging from .89 - 5.5 GPM pumps.
• Though sprayers with built-in pressure gauges and flow rate valves do make the process of calibration easier, they are not necessary when using the Plot Blaster.
• If you are using a pump with a flow rate exceeding 1.8 GPM, an in-line ball valve may be needed.
• Some pumps will provide a perfect spray pattern from the Plot Blaster with little to no adjustment. You will notice this if you have a spray pattern that does not "blow out" or create an ultrafine mist. If your judgment says your spray pattern is running at too high of a pressure, turn down your sprayers on-board pressure adjustment or your in-line ball valve until the spray pattern appears more desirable.
• Narrowing the width of the spray pattern can be done by lowering the tip assembly and/or turning down the pressure. If running a lower pressure rate than listed on the chart below, calibration may be required.
• Boomless spray applications, especially those with large swath potential like the Plot Blaster, work much better on days with minimal wind.
• We offer a drift agent on our website (available here). This product is very effective at making the most of your spray pattern and ensuring chemicals are applied evenly and effectively.
